We run a 2 day, Level 3 & 4 OCN accredited course in POSTNATAL AND INFANT CARE to give you these skills and to start your journey into becoming a maternity practitioner.

Postnatal and Infant Care course:

The course will cover the following-

Breast and Bottle Feeding Support Skills
Skills to Support the Postnatal Mother
Establishing Effective Sleep Routines
Health and Hygiene Care of Newborns
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Safe Sleep
Meal Plans
Premature Babies
Care of Multiples

I believe in the holistic care of mother and baby. My experience in the field of maternity care has taught me every mother has a unique way she would like her infant cared for. It is so important for a Maternity Practitioner to arrive with knowledge and understanding, ready to offer this unique family a method of care, which is tailored specifically to their newborn and their needs.
